One top down, two to go.

Hello there!

Last week for Judy Laquidara's Design Wall Monday I posted my progress on the log cabin with a lens design. Please scroll down to last Tuesday and Wednesday for an update on all the angst - hahaha!  But here again, in case you missed it, is the final product.

This week I'm working on memorial quilts for a good friends of mine.  I have three to make, so now that I've finished one top I'm going to start on the next before I sandwich and quilt them.  If I have enough fabric from the clothing left over I can add a bit more border and things like that.  For today, my design wall is my kitchen floor!  I really like how this one came out with the sweat pants material being used inside out.  Very soft and fuzzy!

I can't wait to see what everyone else has on their walls!

Happy Monday!

  1. WOW!! Thanks for posting about this. I went to her site and downloaded the pattern. My DH is super excited to have a quilt from this design. We actually own a Vasarely that looks like this so I can't wait to get started on it.

    1. Awesome Chris! I had to chicken out on the tiny sliver paper piecing...I'd need a lot more pratice before I could master that. Good luck!
