Today I will finish the "bulge". I can't wait to see what it looks like! Can't you already see the optical illusion taking shape?
I don't usually have the patience for so many little pieces and this paper piecing is definitely a challenge. My table is a MESS, but I don't care - I'm having a blast!
We had a beautiful weekend outside, too. This Texas winter has been more like spring time lately. Check out this beautiful cabbage from our garden that we cooked with a corned beef brisket this weekend! Mmmmmmmm. And this beautiful hibiscus bloom! (Don't tell this beauty that it's not spring time!)
Now back to work!
WOW, that is going to be so neat! You must be so excited to watch it evolve! I cannot wait until the next DWM to check your progress!
ReplyDeleteI like what you have done so far, Looking Good. Your What Goes Around pattern looks good too. Welcome to blogging.
ReplyDeleteToo Cool!
ReplyDeleteYes, this is so cool! Just beautiful! How big is the entire quilt bulge going to be?
ReplyDeleteBarb, the bulge is 20", as for the background I haven't decided exactly what I'll do. I'm finding this a tough project.
DeleteOh man that is so awesome, can't wait to see how it progresses.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt looks amazing! I have a co-worker who is from the Ukraine. I am going to see if she can translate the website for me.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks you have made so far are striking!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt-I, too, can't wait to see it finished.
