The Finished Bulge

I'm starting to think of this as the battle with the bulge because of all the different directions it has taken and how it just didnt' quite flow out as easily as I had expected.  I have to give major kudos to the gifted quilter from Russia who posted the original pattern.  What an amazing talent to pull that together!

For me, I am still very thrilled with the final outcome of the "me" version of this wonderful idea.

I printed out the pattern from http://www.lerusisik.narod.ru/challenge_twisted01.html  and then enlarged the blocks about 25% to make them easier for me to piece together.  It's a lot of fun to share our work, and I say thanks so much to the artist known as "lerusisik " for sharing her pattern!
